I have been making quilts cutting my material with a rolling cutter. My Fiskars cutter was getting dull, so I bought 5 new blades. I put a new blade on my cutter, but for some reason, my cutter wouldn’t work. The wheel was bound up and wouldn’t turn, so I had to buy another one. Back at home, I took the new cutter out of the package and examined it. I compared it to my old cutter and discovered that I had put the new blade onto the old cutter backwards! It wasn’t the cutter at all; it was human error (me)! The same is true of spiritual values. When you have problems in life and things seem upside down, read the Book! Read the instruction manual, the Bible. Don’t think that you can reform your life by yourself. You can’t! Let the dear Lord change your life and make you a new creation! Proverbs3:5&6, “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Put God first in your life, and you’ll never be sorry that you did!
