John 6:66-69

John 6:66-69 From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God. When Jesus talked about eating His body and drinking His blood, many of His followers did not understand the word picture that He was showing them. This bloody stuff was too harsh for them and they decided to go back home. Jesus asked the twelve disciples if they were going to go back too. Peter spoke for the others and said that Jesus was the only way to heaven. They were going to stick with Jesus because He alone was the way of eternal life. Peter was right. Jesus is the only way to God. Jesus is the only way to heaven.
