Colossians 2:3

Colossians 2:3 In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. “Whom” is a pronoun that takes the place of a noun, and the noun it replaces is Jesus Christ.  So today you are getting an English lesson and a Bible lesson! And in our verse Paul is saying that everything is found in Jesus Christ. And Paul uses a beautiful word picture, a treasure chest. So, what is in a treasure chest? Extremely valuable things: gold, silver, precious jewels; all kinds of valuable things. And all of these are found in Jesus Christ. Do you want to be happy in life? Know Jesus Christ. Do you want to be successful in your job? Look to Jesus Christ. Do you want to be happy in your family and with your friends? Follow the example of Jesus Christ. Everything is found in Jeus Christ. He is the secret to life and happiness. He is the source of all of the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Put Jesus Christ first in your life, and you’ll never be sorry that you did.
