I Kings 18:41,45
And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of
abundance of rain. And it came to pass in the mean while, that the heaven was
black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain ... Right after
Elijah prayed down fire from heaven, God told him that the drought was over. Elijah
told King Ahab that he had better hurry down the mountain because there was a
storm coming. But the sky was blue and cloudless just as it had been for the
past three years! But after God had showed Himself strong on Mt. Carmel, Ahab
was a believer. So Ahab high-tailed it down the mountain. And Elijah watched a
cloud about as big as a man’s hand grew and grew and grew into a huge
thunderhead! The rain was glorious! God had answered Elijah’s prayer once again!
