On the radio a week ago, I heard David Jeremiah say, “We each have about as much of God as we want to.” Jesus said in Matthew 5:6, “Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.” If you just want God once a week on Sunday morning, that’s about all of God that you’ll have. But if you hunger and thirst for more of God, He will draw near to you and fill your longing, because “…they shall be filled.”
