Smells

 

I started to make my own soap (cold process).  But I made two bars of Tea tree oil soap that was too strong.  So I threw them away, and started over.  But all day, every time that I threw something in the kitchen trash, that Tea tree oil smell hit me in the face!  I was never more glad to take that bag to the trash bin outside!  So, Sunday afternoon, (two weeks later) my daughter cut up a pineapple for our lunch.  And when I put some paper in the trash can, I was met with the sweet smell of pineapple from the discarded pineapple rind.  What a pleasant surprise!  One was sweet and pleasant while the other was strong and offensive.  Hey, when folk get around you, are they drawn to you or are they pushed away by you?  II Corinthians 2:15, “For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish”  Hey, do you draw people to the Lord with your conversation and your life-style, or do you repulse people by your rudeness?  Is the Lord glad to have you as His spokesperson, or would God rather have you work for the other side?  Think about it.
