My wife has a favorite pair of socks. They are short, so they don’t come too far up her ankle, they are worn/stretched, so they aren’t too tight, and they are gray, so they go with anything. But last night, I only found one sock as I was folding clothes. I looked under the bed for the other sock, but nothing. I looked in the dirty clothes hamper for the other sock, but no luck. I even looked for the other sock as I transferred the wet clothes to the dryer, but no sock. But as I was transferring the wet clothes to the dryer, I dropped a washcloth into the trash can between the two appliances. This trash can is filled with used dryer sheets, empty detergent/softener containers, and dryer lint that is a generic gray color. Interesting. So, I poked around in the gray lint and found the gray sock! I shook it off (it had been through the washer) and put it into the dryer to be joined this morning with its mate. My wife will be so proud of me! Hey, I’m glad that the dear Lord never loses one of His dear children. Jesus himself said in John 10:28&29, “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.” Jesus will never have to poke around looking for me. He knows exactly where I am. Hey, He knows where you are too!
