Time change is a pain. I like to get up early, so the “spring forward” in the spring is no problem. And the “fall back” in the fall gives me an extra hour of sleep in the morning. But staying up an hour later in the spring and getting dark an hour earlier in the fall are both a pain. And it takes me a month to become acclimated to the new time, fall or spring. But the hardest part of time change is changing all of our clocks. Last night, I had to move eight clocks ahead an hour. I have a digital clock in each of the bedrooms, two battery powered wall clocks, and the coffeemaker and microwave. The only bright spot is the little battery powered clock on the windowsill that I never bother with. It is not lighted, so I seldom look at it. But that little clock was the only one today that was right! I didn’t have to set it back because last fall, I neglected to move it forward. Hey, even though I am a nobody in the whole scheme of things, I hope that I am faithful to the dear Lord like that little clock is faithful to me in my bedroom. Luke 16:10, "He that is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much …" May we all be faithful in little or in much, is my prayer.
