Ephesians 3:11,14,15

Ephesians 3:11,14,15 According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, When you trust in Jesus Christ as our Savior, you are born spiritually into God’s forever family. Of course you know that you have two names. Your first name is called your surname and your last name is called your given name. That is because when you are born, or adopted, into your family, you get the family name. It is automatically given to you. So, when you are born into God’s forever family, you get God’s name! We as Christians all have the same last name! That is why we call each other Brother and Sister. And our birth into God’s forever family is not an accident. Nor is it something that just happened. When we become a Christian, God knew that we would from before the world began! It was all a part of God’s eternal plan. But God did not make us become a Christian; God knew that we would become a Christian. This is called God’s foreknowledge. He knew it before. God does not make some people believe and not make other people believe and let them die and go to eternal punishment. II Peter 3:9 says that God is “...not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” God wants everyone everywhere to be saved! And that is His eternal purpose.
