Hebrews 4:13

Hebrews 4:13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. I remember as a child watching the old episodes of Christopher Reeves as Superman. One of his super powers was that he had X-ray vision. He could see right through things. Once Superman saw bank robbers right as they were looting the bank vault. Wouldn’t it be great to have X-ray vision?! But God does. God sees everything that we do. God even sees and knows our motives. A motive is the reason why we do what we do. And God sees both what we do and why we do it. So we should remember that God sees and knows everything that we do. Everything is open before the One with whom we have to do. Remember the next time you are tempted to sin. God, the Holy Spirit is watching. And we will give an account for every wasted word and every wasted minute. So, think about that!
