Leviticus 10:8-10

Leviticus 10:8-10 And the LORD spake unto Aaron, saying, Do not drink wine nor strong drink, thou, nor thy sons with thee, when ye go into the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations: And that ye may put difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean; God expects His people to be different. He expects His people to be examples for others. This is not legalism – salvation by works. This is just holy living. When the priests were in the Tabernacle serving the Lord, they were not to drink wine nor strong drink. And God said that if they were careless, they would die. That’s pretty serious. And God expects us to be serious about His work and serious about our testimony before others.
