Joshua 3:5 And
Joshua said unto the people, Sanctify yourselves: for to morrow the LORD will
do wonders among you. As Israel prepared to go in to the Promised Land,
they repented of sins, examining their hearts before the Lord. God was going to
do great miracles on their behalf against the wicked Canaanites. But God wanted
them to be right with Him. And God wants us to be right with Him. Before God
can work in our hearts and lives, we must confess sin and get right with God.
Then, and only then, can God bless. And He will bless!
