Acts 27:33-36

Acts 27:33-36 And while the day was coming on, Paul besought them all to take meat, saying, This day is the fourteenth day that ye have tarried and continued fasting, having taken nothing. Wherefore I pray you to take some meat: for this is for your health: for there shall not an hair fall from the head of any of you. And when he had thus spoken, he took bread, and gave thanks to God in presence of them all: and when he had broken it, he began to eat. Then were they all of good cheer, and they also took some meat. After they were driven towards land, the sailors put out four anchors to keep them from being dashed on the rocks. Paul again encouraged everyone and told them to take a little food to keep up their strength. They would need it tomorrow! And they did! Paul had been right and the crew was going to listen to him this time! The next morning, the centurion took the handcuffs off of the prisoners so they could swim. The sailors threw out the last of the stuff on the ship and they cut the anchor ropes and the ship flew with the wind towards the shore. The ship stuck fast into the sand and the waves began to break it up. Those who could swam ashore. Those who couldn’t swim grabbed parts of the wooden ship and kicked as hard as they could towards shore. One by one, they began to gather on the dry land. With the final count, they were all safe! Just like Paul had said, God had saved all 276 men! God will always do what he says! And you can count on that!
