II Chronicles 1:7,8,10

II Chronicles 1:7,8,10 In that night did God appear unto Solomon, and said unto him, Ask what I shall give thee. And Solomon said unto God, … Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people: for who can judge this thy people, that is so great? Even though Solomon was the king of Israel, he knew his place. Some people become proud when they assume a position of importance, but not Solomon. Solomon knew that ruling God’s people was not going to be easy. Solomon was wise enough to know that he needed to ask for wisdom! and he did. He wanted to do a good job in running his country. Hey, do you want to do a good job at your job? If you do, do like Solomon and ask the good Lord for wisdom. He will give it to you!
