II Chronicles 27:1,2

II Chronicles 27:1,2 Jotham was twenty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Jerushah, the daughter of Zadok. And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Uzziah did: howbeit he entered not into the temple of the LORD. And the people did yet corruptly. Jotham was a great builder. He built walls and gates in Jerusalem and he built cities throughout Judah. He was a good king and obeyed and followed God, but he didn’t lead his people to worship the Lord God. He didn’t go to the Temple of God and he let his people get away with evil. Wow! That’s a good lesson for us. It isn’t enough to not do evil, we must go to church and encourage others to go to church too. To have a full life, we need a relationship with God. King Jotham needed God and we do too!
