Revelation 15:1 And
I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the
seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God. The Holy God
of heaven brings one last judgement upon the people of the earth to try to get
them to believe in the God of heaven. But humans are stubborn. We are reluctant
to admit that God is in charge of us. We like to do things our own way. So the
Holy Spirit of God sends seven of His angels with seven judgements. Since these
angels pour out these judgments upon the earth, they are called the bowl
judgements. Just like a housewife opens the back door pours out a bowl of dirty
water in the yard, God pours out His judgement upon a stubborn world. This is
one last chance. God punishes sin, but God also gives an opportunity to repent.
So do you think that mankind repents? You are right. No, they don’t. But God
has been fair. They have had their chances. Now they had better look out! And I
am glad that those of us who believer in Jesus Christ will not be here on
earth. We will be safe at home in heaven with Jesus!
