20:1,2,10 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the
bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon,
that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand
years, And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and
brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented
day and night for ever and ever. Because of Satan’s wicked works, God will
give him what he deserves - eternal punishment in the Lake of Fire. Although
Satan’s punishment seems harsh, it is fair. God hates sin and sin must be
punished. Punishment in hell fire shows us how evil sin really is. God has
provided salvation for humans, but Satan and his demons cannot be redeemed.
They are beyond hope. God is just and God is holy.
