I Chronicles 11:10 These also are the chief
of the mighty men whom David had, who strengthened themselves with him in his
kingdom, and with all Israel, to make him king, according to the word of the
LORD concerning Israel.
God gave King David many mighty warriors. They are all listed here in this
chapter by name! Jashobeam, Eleazar, and Abishai were his chief men with
Joab, David’s captain. Benaiah was the captain of the king’s guard, an
important position to keep the king safe. But the rest of the chapter lists -
by name - more than 50 mighty warriors who fought for king David. David was
proud of his mighty men and God was proud of them too, because God had them
listed by name. I hope God lists my name. Don’t you want God to list your name
as a mighty Ninja for Him?!
