I have been looking for a bench vise on facebook marketplace, and I found one last week. The price was $70 reduced to $50. Sweet! I messaged the seller, and he replied that the vise was still available. Someone had wanted it but didn’t show up to buy it. His loss; my gain. But after several back and forth communications, I began to understand why the fellow had backed out. The seller refused to give me his phone number or location to meet. I smelled a scam, so I canceled our conversations. Then on Friday, I saw a similar new vise on a facebook ad. I followed the link, and the price was $129. I copied the model number and pasted it in Amazon.com and found it for $44.99 including shipping. A better deal than my original used vise on facebook marketplace! “Good things come to those who wait.” Or … God watches over fools who carelessly shop online. I Peter 5:7, “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” God is even interested in a 4” bench vise for careless me. And God will take care of you too. Yes, He will!
