II Corinthians 5:14,15

II Corinthians 5:14,15 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. Why do you serve God? Do you obey Him because you have to? Or do you serve God because you love Him and want to serve Him? If someone gave you a million dollars, you would be extremely happy. Right?! So what if they asked you to feed their dog for a week while they were away on vacation? You would gladly do it. Right?! Of course! You would be glad to do something little for them because of the great gift that they had given to you. And so it is with us and Jesus. He died for us and gave us His eternal life. And we gladly serve Jesus. We serve Him, not because we must, but we serve Him out of love. He died for us so that we might live. Our service to Jesus is the very least that we can do for Someone who has done so much for us! So, do you obey God because you must or because you want to? That is the question.
