II Corinthians 5:21
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the
righteousness of God in him. We have the most wonderful exchange here in
our verse for today. Do you know what a bargain is? In a bargain, the seller
believes he got the best deal but the buyer believes that he got the best deal.
But in our salvation, we sinners absolutely got the best part of the deal. We
traded our dirty rotten sins and in exchange, Jesus Christ gave us His eternal
life. What a deal for us! But Jesus knew that He was giving us a great deal. He
gladly died for our sins. And that is how much Jesus loved us.
