Joshua 1:16,17

Joshua 1:16,17 And they answered Joshua, saying, All that thou commandest us we will do, and whithersoever thou sendest us, we will go. According as we hearkened unto Moses in all things, so will we hearken unto thee: only the LORD thy God be with thee, as he was with Moses. When General Joshua gave his pep talk to his army, they were ready to follow him into battle. They were ready to do what he told them to do and go where he sent them to go. And they said, “We will follow you as long as you are following God.” And that’s how all of us should be. We should follow the preacher as long as he is following God. We should follow the Sunday school teacher as long as they are following God. We should think for ourselves and obey God first. And follow the person that we are accountable to as long as they are following God. But how do we know that they are following God? We must read the Bible ourselves. Then we will know. Think for yourselves and follow authority as they follow God.
