A man came home from a long business trip to his beautiful wife. But it wasn’t long before they started arguing. And then it got really nasty. In exasperation, the man said, “How can someone so beautiful be so stupid?!” The wife retorted, “It’s easy: God made me beautiful so that you would marry me, and God made me stupid so that I would marry you.” In Ephesians the dear Lord commands husbands to love their wives and for wives to respect their husbands. Hey, both are looking for their needs to be met. Paul said in Ephesians 5:21, “Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.” As we give in to one another with love and respect, we both draw closer to the good Lord. So, today, make today a good day. Love each other; respect each other; and draw near to God … and it will be a good day. Yes it will.
