Ticket Please

I heard a cute story yesterday.  Albert Einstein was traveling by train to New York to give a lecture.  The conductor came through the car punching tickets, came to Dr. Einstein, and asked for his ticket.  Dr. Einstein reached into his vest pocket and looked confused.  Then he reached into his coat pockets and inside coat pockets searching for his ticket.  The conductor asked, “You did buy a ticket, didn’t you?”  Dr, Einstein replied, “Oh yes, I bought a ticket, but I just can’t seem to find it.”  With that, he stood up and felt in his pants pockets.  The conductor said, “I know you, Dr. Einstein.  It’s OK.  Don’t worry about your ticket.”  But Albert Einstein kept looking for his ticket.  The conductor moved on, but Dr, Einstein kept searching for his ticket.  After a few moments, the conductor looked back and Dr. Einstein was on his hands and knees looking under his seat for his ticket.  The conductor called back, “Dr. Einstein, don’t worry about your ticket.  We all know who you are and it’s OK.”  Dr. Einstein looked up with a worried look and said, “Thank you, but I still need to find my ticket because I don’t know where I’m going.”  Hey, do you know where you’re going?  You will pass on into eternity some day soon and face your Maker.  Are you prepared to meet God?  Have you made your peace with your Creator?  If you have trusted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you will be welcomed into heaven.  But if not …  Hebrews 9:27, “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.”
