For many years, I have been memorizing Scriptures. I write the verse on a 3X5 notecard with the reference on the back. Sometimes I go through the verses and try to repeat them from memory, and sometimes I try to match the references with the verses. Several books of the Bible I have gone through exhaustively but some books I only have a few verses jotted down. Lately, I have been going through Psalms and found many verses that I hadn’t written down. But yesterday, I found Psalm 96 and every single verse I had underlined in my Bible! Each one of the 13 verses was a jewel! I can name many great chapters in the Bible: Psalm 23, Matthew 5, John 3, John 14, and II Corinthians 5, but this chapter tops them all! Hey, what is your favorite chapter in the Bible? My new favorite is Psalm 96. Take 90 seconds to read the entire chapter, and you’ll agree with me. Psalm 96:8, “Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.”
