Romans 10:17 So
then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. When we read
something in the Bible, we learn something new about God. And the more we learn
from the Bible, the more we know about God. Would you trust someone that you
have just met? Of course not! But after you get to know someone and get closer
to them, you know who they are. You begin to trust them. As we read the Bible
and learn about God, we begin to trust Him. Our faith in God is a reasonable
faith. We are trusting in someone that we know. Faith comes from hearing about God’s
Word.
