Philippians 4:6,7
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with
thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God,
which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through
Christ Jesus. The phrase be careful for nothing does not mean
not to take care, it means not to worry about anything. And verse
seven tells us why we should not worry. We should not worry because we have the
peace of God. And how do we get the peace of God? By trusting in God’s only
begotten Son, Jesus Christ. If we have Jesus, we have God. If we have God, we
have true peace. God will meet our needs and will take care of us all of our lives,
all the way to heaven. And that is the peace of God!
