If someone asks you, “Are you married?” how long does it
take for you to answer? A split-second,
of course. So, if someone asks you, “Are
you a Christian?” how long does it take for you to answer? If it takes more than a split-second for you
to answer, you need to wake up and realize that you are not a Christian. If you struggle to answer; if you must think
about what to answer; if you cast about in your mind as to how to answer; the
answer is clear: you aren’t a Christian.
The old apostle John said clearly in I John 5:11-13, “And this is the
record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He
that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of
God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the
name of the Son of God.” Do you notice
the certainty in these verses? Hey, you
can know that you are passed from death unto life! If you are unsure, message me right now. Do it right now. It’s that important.
