Joshua 10:7,8 So
Joshua ascended from Gilgal, he, and all the people of war with him, and all
the mighty men of valour. And the LORD said unto Joshua, Fear them not: for I
have delivered them into thine hand; there shall not a man of them stand before
thee. God was with Joshua as he and the army of Israel marched into the
land promised to them by God. God went before them and put the dread of them
into the hearts of the Canaanite tribes. The Children of Israel fought, but
their enemies simply melted before them. Actually, the Lord did the fighting,
Israel just moved in and mopped up the left-overs. God always does the work,
but allows us to be part of His plan so that we can feel like we are doing our
part. Actually, God does it all and we show up to enjoy that the work is done.
God is wonderful!
