Joshua 8:30,31 Then
Joshua built an altar unto the LORD God of Israel in mount Ebal, As Moses the
servant of the LORD commanded the children of Israel, as it is written in the
book of the law of Moses, an altar of whole stones, over which no man hath lift
up any iron: and they offered thereon burnt offerings unto the LORD, and
sacrificed peace offerings. After the wonderful victory over Ai, all of
Israel regained their confidence in the Lord. They went from the stunning
defeat to the thrill of victory. And all because of obedience to God. Why did
they lose to Ai in the first place? That’s right, because of sin. And why did
they win over Ai in the second battle? That’s right, because of obedience to
God and victory over sin. God will punish sin, But God will bless if we obey.
God bless you brother.Obedience brings God's blessing. Joshua's altar was just desecrated by Palestinians, but rebuilt the part of the wall used for road work, right!.The lsraelis need to be taking it seriously.
