I heard Rob West this past week on “Faith and Finance” on the radio. He said that there are only four things to do with your money: live and give and owe and grow. Good stuff! We need money to live on, and we need money to give. Money to give the Lord and/or to give to others in need. And we can owe money and pay interest on the money that we borrow, or we can save some of our income to grow it for the future. Either pay interest or earn interest. Jesus explained the key to money in Matthew 6:19-21, “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” Hey, listen to advice from Rob West and listen to advice from Jesus … but not in that order.
