Plan Ahead

“It’s better to put a fence at the top of the cliff than an ambulance at the bottom.”  My uncle told me years ago that his cars always had good brakes.  That’s because he saw to it.  Uncle Gray said, “A car may not go, but it sure needs to stop.”  And he is right.  A little preventative maintenance will keep you from a terrible accident someday.  And a little preventative maintenance in your spiritual life will help you too.  Look at problems in your life and make corrections before they become bigger problems.  Psalm 107:28, “Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.”  Don’t wait in the ambulance at the bottom of the hill; seek the dear Lord early and avoid trouble.
