I am an optimist … until my wife asks me to do something around the house. “It’s just too hard!” I start with. “I don’t have the right tools!” comes next. So, how does an optimist generate such negativity?! It’s how I view things - personally. If I want it done, it’s doable. If someone else wants it done, it’s undoable. The optimist says, “The glass is half full.” The pessimist says, “The glass is half empty.” But David said in Psalm 23:5 of God’s blessings, “My cup runneth over.” Hey, quit arguing about the half full or half empty glass and let the dear Lord make your cup to overflow! You’ll be glad that you did.
