John 1:1-3

John 1:1-3 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. Hurray! We are in another book! The book of John is a great book. I think you will enjoy it. Do you notice that the word Word is capitalized? Why are nouns capitalized? Because they are proper nouns. The word Word means Jesus Christ. Our verses say that Jesus existed before anything else existed with God the Father. Our verses go on to say that Jesus made everything. Colossians 1 and Hebrews 1 also say that Jesus was before everything and, Jesus made everything. Jesus is God and Jesus made everything and Jesus loves us. That is great!
