John 1:4 & 5 In
him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in
darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. Our verses say that life is
in Jesus Christ. He is so important that He is like life itself. And then here
we humans are. We are just like darkness compared to the light of Jesus. And
our verses say that we did not understand the light. Jesus is so much higher
than we are that it is like light and darkness. He is so much higher than we
are that we just don’t understand Him. Jesus is the light of the world.
