John 3:1-3

John 3:1-3 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. John chapter 3 is one of my favorite chapters in the whole Bible. Nicodemus was a good man and an important man in his country. He may have come to Jesus by night because he was a busy man, or he may have come by night so that his friends would not see him and he would not get into trouble. Jesus was very controversial. He and his followers were ridiculed and mistreated. Nicodemus was a smart man, but he was confused by the new teachings of Jesus. But instead of mocking Jesus, Nicodemus came direct to Jesus and asked him questions. If you are not sure about something in your life, always ask someone who will know the answer. Do not be embarrassed. The most important thing is to get the right answer from the right person – the person who knows the answer. Attorney David Gibbs said, “When good people get good information they can make good decisions.”
