Acts 14:8-10

Acts 14:8-10 And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother's womb, who never had walked: The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed, Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked. When the unbelieving Jews ran off Paul and Barnabas from Iconium, they came to Lystra and preached. But when the people saw the lame man jump up and run away healed, they were amazed and thought Paul and Barnabas were gods come down to live among them! Paul and Barnabas were shocked and told them that they were men just like they were and that God had salvation for them through Jesus Christ. But their old enemies, the unbelieving Jews, showed up and stirred up the people against them. The mob stoned Paul and threw his body outside of the city. As the believers rushed to Paul weeping, he got up, dusted himself off, and simply walked back into the city! What do you think the believers thought? What do you think the people who had just stoned Paul thought when they saw him walking back into the city? Does God take care of His preachers? Do you think that God will take care of you? Absolutely!
