Acts 9:17,18 And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost. And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized. At first, Ananias was afraid of Saul. You would be too! God was asking Ananias to go and speak to the very man who had been arresting and imprisoning Christians. But God assured Ananias that Saul was a new man! He was soon to be a choice preacher for God! Ananias prayed for Saul and he received his sight! Saul was immediately baptized and immediately began to preach about Jesus! What a change! That is what salvation does for a person! In John 3 it is called the New Birth. I hope you have been born into God's family. And I hope you speak up for Jesus just like Saul began to do!
