I Peter 2:2 As
newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: Aren’t
babies cute! They are so sweet and cuddly! And aren’t they cute the way they go
after a bottle when they are hungry! The baby can be crying like they are
starving. But when their mother gives them their bottle, they just go after
that nipple and suck and suck to get their milk. What a beautiful picture! Just
like that baby goes after its milk, we need to be hungry for God’s Word. Just
like the baby needs their milk to grow, we need God’s Word to grow. Hey! That’s
what we are doing just now! We are going after God’s Word. I hope you learn
something from God’s Word every day! It’s great for us to grow, but better to
grow spiritually!
