Colossians 1:21,22
And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works,
yet now hath he reconciled In the body of his flesh through death, to present
you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight. The Apostle Paul
has the whole story of man in these two verses. Jesus Christ made mankind to
have fellowship with Him. But Adam and Eve sinned, breaking that fellowship.
But when Jesus died of the cross, He paid the debt of sin that we owed restoring
our fellowship with God. And now, by the blood of Jesus Christ we can stand
perfect and blameless before God. We are able to stand before God, not because
of the good works that we might do, but we stand before God because of the
blood of Jesus. When God looks at us, He sees His perfect Son, Jesus. We are
perfect because of Jesus!
