Colossians 2:8

Colossians 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. When you have milk at the house and you eat cereal for breakfast, you must remember to put it back in the refrigerator. And if you come home at suppertime and the milk is still sitting on the counter, it is probably spoiled. And if you aren’t sure if the milk is spoiled or not, just smell it. One whiff will tell you that it is spoiled. And our verse reminds us that man’s way of thinking stinks in God’s nostrils. Mankind's thinking is spoiled. But if we are a Christian, we should not think the way that the world thinks. We should think differently. Our mind and our thinking should be transformed by God’s Word and by the Holy Spirit. Let God change you and help you to think new thoughts. Think like God and not like man.
