Zephaniah
1:14,17,18 The great day of the LORD is near … And I will bring distress upon
men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the
LORD: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung.
Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of
the LORD'S wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his
jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the
land. God loves and cares about everyone. But someday very soon God will
judge the world. And that will be a fearful time. God is love, but God is also
justice. He has paid the price on Calvary to save us, but if we do not accept the
sacrifice of His Son, we will face God’s justice and the punishment for our
sins. The Great day of the Lord will be a terrible day for those who will not
believe and for those who have not heard. So the pressure is on us to tell
them. So let’s do it! Let’s spread the message of salvation to everyone!
