Acts 3:6-10

Acts 3:6-10 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God. And all the people saw him walking and praising God: And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him. When Peter and John went up to the Temple to pray, they passed by a lame beggar. When they stopped, the beggar expected them to give him some money. He didn't realize that Peter and John were poor preachers. Peter said, “We don't have any money, but in the name of Jesus Christ, get up and walk.” And he did. Can you imagine how excited this lame man was! He had never walked, and here he was leaping up, walking and running and praising God. I’ll bet he was shouting and running all around. Can you imagine the people whom he passed? They took one look at him and then asked each other, “Wasn’t that the crippled man who just ran by? But it couldn’t have been. He can’t even walk! But it sure looked like him!” And it was him! They all ran into the Temple to hear Peter and John and to learn how it happened that this lame man was healed. Peter and John had a great opportunity to tell everyone all about Jesus. And they did!
And that is our job too. Our job is to tell everyone about Jesus.
