John 14:27

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. What are you afraid of? You may be afraid of thunder and lightning when a storm rages at night. You may have a scary dream at night. But you get over those fears when you become a teenager. But then you have other fears. You are afraid that no one will like you. You are afraid that you are ugly and uncoordinated. But when you become an adult, you get over those fears. But then you have more fears. You are afraid you might lose your job. You are afraid that your children might get sick. But after your children are grown, you get over those fears. But then you have other fears. You are afraid that you will be lonely in your old age. You are afraid that you will not have enough money for retirement. But if you trust in God, you will get over all of those fears. You trust that your heavenly Father will take care of you. You trust in Him and rest in His strong arms. You are at peace!
