Genesis 12:1-3

Genesis 12:1-3 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. Our verses for today are the great covenant between Abraham and God. A covenant is a contract or a deal between two people. But this deal that God had with Abraham was very lop-sided. God was going to do all of the blessing if Abraham would only obey Him. God said that if Abraham would go where God sent him, God would bless him and make of him a great nation. That was big talk seeing how Abraham was seventy-five years old and didn’t have a single son as of yet! But remember, “With God, all things are possible”!
