Genesis 6:17,18

Genesis 6:17,18 And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die. But with thee will I establish my covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons' wives with thee. God gave Noah warning that the flood was coming. God had to destroy the wicked men, but God wanted to preserve Noah and his family and a sampling of the animals. God established a covenant with Noah. A covenant is like a deal that God made with Noah. If Noah would build an ark like God told him to, and if Noah would go into the ark and trust God to save him from the flood waters, God would do it! That was a good deal for Noah, wasn’t it. God’s deals are always for our good. If we will do what God asks us to do, He will give us the very best. And that is a very good deal for us!
