Ephesians 5:20

Ephesians 5:20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; Let me ask you some questions. Does God know everything? Yes, He does. Does God know what is going to happen in the future? Yes, He does. So when bad things happen to us, did God know that they were going to happen? Yes, He did. But God didn’t stop the bad things from happening to us? Yes, that’s right. But did you realize that God actually uses the bad things that happen to us for our good? For example, when someone at church gets sick, we pray for them. We think about them and we visit them. We become closer to them and love them more why? Because something bad happened to them: they got sick. So God used that sickness, which is bad, to do His will, which is good. God uses bad things. So, as our verse says, when something bad happens to us, we can know that God knows what is going on and that God is going to use the bad things for His glory and for our good. Always remember: Things may be bad, but God is in charge, and God is always good!
