Ephesians 6:10,11
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put
on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of
the devil. We are in a battle each day. We are in a spiritual battle and
Satan is our enemy. And, make no mistake, Satan is really, really smart. He has
been fighting against Christians for hundreds of years and he knows what he is
doing. The word wiles means that Satan is a sharp enemy. He uses many tricks to
defeat us. Our only defense is to trust in God and to let God fight for us
against Satan. Remember: Satan is powerful, but God is all powerful! We can never
hope to defeat Satan by ourselves. But we should trust in God, Who can always
defeat Satan!
