Ephesians 6:4

Ephesians 6:4  And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Fathers have a great responsibility. They must be an example to their children. We learn how to be a man when we grow up by watching our father. And we learn how our heavenly Father behaves by watching our earthly father. But as kids, sometimes we don’t want to obey our father. We may do what our father says on the outside, but on the inside, we are angry about having to obey. But if we obey our father on the inside as well as the outside, we will respect him and we will honor our father. So each of us has a great responsibility. Fathers should teach and direct their children so as not to make them angry, and children must obey and honor their fathers as they would as if their heavenly Father were giving the orders. If we both follow God’s example we will have a great family. God the Father and God the Son are great examples of how our families should be.
