Ephesians 5:25,32

Ephesians 5:25,32 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. The Apostle Paul mentions a great mystery in our verses. I think that the mystery is why Jesus Christ would love us as sinners. Why would the Creator of the Universe care about us humans so, so much? But He does! And, marriage is a picture of the love of Christ for His church. The love of a husband for his wife is a picture of how Christ loves the church. Wow! That is true love! We will learn about the wife’s responsibility tomorrow, but today, we are talking about the husband’s responsibility, which is considerable. The husband should love his wife and sacrifice his all for his wife. And if the husband loves his wife that much, she will love him right back with amazing love. And the love of God will bind the husband and his wife together. God’s plan for marriage is wonderful, isn’t it?!
